Twinkle Tan
Formulated for special occasions or just to add a bit of glamour to your day!

All our tans will last at least 5-7 days, but here are a few tips on how to extend that glow!

1. Exfoliate and remove unwanted body hair the night before spray.
2. Leave your Naturasun Spray Tan on for at least 12 hours, or over night if possible, before bathing. This gives your tan a chance to develop fully.
3. Avoid doing or wearing any clothing that will make you perspire while the tan is developing as this can ‘wash-away’ the solution before it has developed! Anti-perspirants and moisturisers will have the same effect.
4. Moisturise daily either with your regular cream or a special tan extending cream such as Naturasun’s Daily Glow. Watch you don’t use creams with alpha hydroxyl acids (AHA) as these actively remove your tan! Hydrated skin is essential to maintaining your tan.
5. Avoid long showers or baths as this will speed up the exfoliation process. Be sure to pat down rather than rub yourself with your towel as this will effectively “rub off” your tan! And for those swimmers out there-chlorine is a highly effective exfoliant.
6. The parts you wash the most like your hands and face, will fade the fastest so it is often advisable to top up in between tans with Natura Glo-a light spray tan in a can!
7. Naturasun sprays are mixable so why not ask your therapist for a custom colour?

Bio-Brasion

Points to Remember

Microdermabrasion: is using crystals to exfoliate the skin, giving radiance, improving the natural desquamation process, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and compliments other electrical machines.
Microdermabrasion is excellent for face and body exfoliation, back of hands and arms. It also reduces the appearance of stretch marks and scars. Scar tissue must be healed 12 weeks before working on. Fine lines and wrinkles appear smoother.
This treatment is ideal for brides to be for radiance, Acne sufferers and for those seeking an anti ageing result!
An erythema may occur after treatment, but this will calm down over the next 24hours.
Also skin may peel several days after the treatment, this generally occurs with clients who are poor exfoliators.
Sensitive clients may have the treatment done. As microdermabraion works on the epidermis it does not affect the capillaries in the dermal layer. The erythema makes the skin look worse however the circulation has been drawn to the surface and no damage has been caused.

Treatment times
Micro dermabrasion alone 30 minutes Micro dermabrasion including mask 45 minutes If we use Bio-Brasion before our facial or electrical treatments, penetration levels will be higher as the top layer of dead skin cells have been removed.

Remember
After you’ve gone over the whole face twice remember STAND BACK, BRUSH CRYSTALS AWAY AND REASSESS. If the skin looks fine we can go back over problem areas for the client.

Exfoliation
When doing microdermabrasion before a facial we must remember to leave out exfoliation. With age the natural desquamation process slows down and can take up to four months. Using microdermabrasion we speed up fibroblast activity hence improve desquamation timing. You have the choice of using a plastic hand piece which last for 16 treatments or a glass venturi hand piece which can be used 38 times.

Courses
The client can have one treatment a week for 6 to 8 weeks then once a month for maintenance. Therapist must remember if the client has a course of Bio-Brasion they must wait 28 days before have the treatment done again.

After care
The aftercare advice is similar to that of waxing e.g.
No heat
No friction
No sun beds
No perfume
No swimming
No shower
This is all for 24 hours.

Acne drugs- no treatments to be done until 6 months after finishing course of medication. Uv sensitive drugs.
As the skins natural exfoliation process slows down with age, we can speed things up and reintroduce radiance to your skin with microdermabrasion.
Remember dead skins cells result in the following:
Dull skin
Your regular products will not penetrate effectively
Make up will be patchy and uneven
Skin tone is undesirable.
Microdermabrasion will remove all your dead skin cells preventing the above, giving immediate results!
